Shield (Paladins use Bradium Shield) and for most cases Horn Card is superior to Thara Card because of how different types of reductions multiply together (for example, when reducing Acid Demonstration damage: Thara+Noxious = 43.3% total reduction , Horn+Noxious = 50.5% total reduction). There is a caveat however: some specialised builds can make use of Thorny Buckler and Horn of the Bison - however this can be dangerous since you will lose so much water and fire resist - or in the case of Bradium Shield max HP.
Class Lineup
x2 FS (Full Support) Professors
These are Professors with heavy reductions and high VIT and DEX. Their primary jobs are to Dispell and cast Land Protector over an enemy guilds Land Protector so they take heavy magic damage. These classes should be Devoted at all times by your paladins.
x1 DLP (Defensive Land Protector) Professor
During GvGs this Professor will be standing inside the stack so they are difficult to target. They roll very high DEX and VIT. They should also be using a Nightmare Card and an Evil Druid Card as if they get Sleep/Stone Curse the whole guild will take heavy damage. It's also important to Devote this Professor.
x1 DD (Damage Dealer) Creator
These deliver massive single target damage, which is essential for dropping key high VIT targets. They need really high DEX, INT and AGI (in order of importance). It's important that they don't front line, as if they get Dispelled they lose their damage completely and are also highly likely to die. You need a Valkyrian Armour (with Marc Card preferably) and a +5 Dark Bacilium (with Stalactic Golem Card) so they don't get stunned.
x1 DD High Wizard
The build for DD High Wiz on this server is open to interpretation, but fast casting is important. Principally you will use only a few skills: Amplify Magic Power + Storm Gust, Meteor Storm, Quagmire, Jupitel Thunder (if anything gets close), Fire Pillar. The difficulty here is that you can't get 100% stun resist with gears, so you have to take some VIT usually. Gears might include: Flame Skull Card, +5 Dark Bacilium (with Stalactic Golem Card).
x1 Clown
Absolutely essential. If your supportive Clown dies then you basically lose any GvG. Clown should be Devoted and hidden insie the stack at ALL times. It needs to have really high INT, VIT and AGI. Pro-tip: Bragi is effected by INT in multiples of 5, so 120 INT is the same effect as 124 INT; however ASPD Song and Apple of Idun are effected in multiples of 10 in AGI and VIT. I can't stress enough how fundamental this class is. You should be switching your weapons to flash songs, but Bragi is by far the most important to have active.
x1 SPP (Slim Potion Pitcher) Creator
Spams Slim Potion Pitcher in the stack to keep everyone alive during GvGs. The build is basically max DEX, 100 total VIT and the rest into AGI or STR. You also need an Evil Druid Card and a Nightmare Card since getting Sleep/Stone Curse may end up wiping your guild.
x1 High Priest
Buffs the party - AGI UP and Blessing. Contrary to what you may think, WoE High Priest builds are very different to PvM builds. They need VIT close to 100, a lot of ranged reduction (Long Mace, Aligator Card, Noxious Card, Horn Card), high AGI, some DEX and low INT. Keep Bless on front line characters since they'll get dispelled. There are other jobs a High Priest can do, but if you're the only High Priest buffs are the most important thing. Evil Druid Card on at least one High Priest is essential.

Max DEX, max VIT, rest into AGI/STR. Needs Evil Druid Card and Nightmare Card. Uses Bradium Shield instead of Valk. Shield. Each Paladin will have a few specific targets to keep Devoted. For example:
Paladin 1: Professor 1, DD Creator, DLP Professor
Paladin 2: Professor 2, DD High Wizard, Clown
More than 3 Devo targets is not advised.

As a solo Linker it will just be for linking certain classes. Importantly, Clown, DD High Wizard, SPP Creator need links.
That's it. That's the bare minimum for a modern WoE SE meta. After this you should get Emergency Caller, FS High Wizard, Gypsy, Status Sniper, 2nd SPP Creator, 2nd High Priest, 2nd Linker, 2nd DD Creator, 2nd DD High Wizard. Then you have the freedom to add some other chars and personalise the roster.
