A Sharpshoot Sniper is a backline class that sharpshoots targets in range and maintains their sniper buffs (True Sight, Attention Concentrate). A good sniper is well aware of how to target. Sharpshoot has a range of 9 cells in a line, but after it hits the first target, it will extend another nine cells past the original target. Use this knowledge to maximize your DPS.
Never chase after targets, professors know to dispell you since you are for sure not wearing GTB and any High Wizard present will murder you and the paladin devoing you if you are targeted.
Arrow shower when no targets are in range, sharpshoot when they are close enough. Maintain your position, the only exception to this rule is when a sharpshoot bridge (like a MBK stalker) is available.
Each sniper is assigned a default status arrow/element, but should bring a handful of arrows from other elements in case it is more appropriate to change elements. If you are assigned a status arrow coupled with an endow, being back up arrows of your endow element in case your buffer dies or is unable to endow you.
Check the roster if you are unsure of what arrow type is your default.
When defending, 1 sniper will be given the task of maintaining traps behind the guild. If you notice one of the traps trigger on a cloaked target, use detecting (cloaked targets) or arrow shower (hidden targets) and autoattack the target to keep them uncloaked.

The specific details of your build ultimately doesn't matter as long as it fulfills the following:
Freeze immunity (Marc or ED)
Stun immunity
185~190 ASPD without SINX song, with or without AGI up
Instant Cast (150 DEX) with or without bless
90~+ CRIT with or without Fortune's Kiss (Dancing Lessons Lvl 1, Base Luk 1)
High MDEF/Magic Resistance/Resistance
